I think I would like it if it's not too nature-y.Sherryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04664642293286996220noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26800186.post-86305891028865506422016-06-04T11:22:50.897-07:002016-06-04T11:22:50.897-07:00Wow. Several that you have listed will be making there way onto my tbr list.
Many comments I could make, but what stands out is Donald Miller. I'm not a fan, but I agree he can definitely write. His writing style is so agreeable to me that I may give Searching for God Knows What a try....maybe.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26800186.post-40865010703571065142016-06-04T08:59:19.366-07:002016-06-04T08:59:19.366-07:00I've had Into Thin Air on my TBR library list ...I've had Into Thin Air on my TBR library list for a long time. That story fascinates me, not in the "I want to do that one day" way, but in the "what on earth possesses these people to want to do that" kind of way. This expedition especially is interesting as it happened when my kids were very young and it was on the news and in documentaries and they called the survivor of that "Nose, nose" because he lost his nose to frost bite and then had it rebuilt. It really was a curious thing to them.Susannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02757963698816530787noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26800186.post-28487883083220849122016-06-03T19:12:07.220-07:002016-06-03T19:12:07.220-07:00Vampires! For the past 3 weeks...Vampires! I am speechless...

For the past 3 weeks, my daughters have been listening to Pride and Prejudice, and watching and rewatching the BBC miniseries version with Coin Firth. So many lines are being quoted at odd moments every day. Now I'll think of you when we do it!

I have Krakauer's Into the Wild and found it enthralling, though desperately sad. I may look for Everest.

Glad you're back!Janethttp://acrossthepage.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26800186.post-36396460241635622782016-06-03T11:13:05.321-07:002016-06-03T11:13:05.321-07:00Thanks Ruth!
