'Tis the Season for Another Carnival

This one is the Carnival of Anglican Advent Traditions. I'm not an Anglican, but I attended an Anglican boarding school and so this branch of Christianity is one of the many influences on my faith, and perhaps one of the strongest. I enjoyed reading these posts.

Funny advent & school connection: last year my son's class (3rd and 4th) made "book promo" posters with their reading buddies (1st and 2nd graders). I saw one up on the wall that read
THE ADVENT
OF CAPTAIN
UNDERPANTS
with a little "ure" off to the side of the "Advent" (classic 'didn't plan ahead' poster look). Ever since then, I've been trying to think of a funny story to go along with that title...
