I just started trying to read Ishmael Beah's 'A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy Soldier' in Sierra Leone. I can't finish it; too brutally sad. Of course I thought of Kenya.
I haven't commented much on this topic, but I wanted to let you know that I think of you whenever Kenya is in the news! Here are some {{{cyberhugs}}}. I heard snippets of a "Talk of the Nation" show yesterday (on NPR) that covered the topic, with two Kenyan authors.
Ruth, I have been following the goings-on in Kenya...and all I can do is cry. I pray with you that there will be some relief soon!
