  5. I, too, love the "silent as smoke", Ruth. I've sat evenings in the dusk or dark and seen (finally), an owl swoop in or by, yes, not anything to hear, only to see. I love it!

  8. Last Sunday, we went to a "Raptorpalooza" event at our local Audubon center. So many inspiring birds. So many piercing eyes!
