Sarah Grace has today's Poetry Friday roundup.
Dear Ruth, I love seeing your bird poems gather and take flight! Owls are perfect to feature during October, yes? Thank you! xo
Silent as smoke! Your poem is fire--hehe!
Silent as smoke! Love it. You really create an ominous vibe with few words.
"silent as smoke" is a great line! I love this tiny poem that packs a punch. Thank you for sharing it!
I, too, love the "silent as smoke", Ruth. I've sat evenings in the dusk or dark and seen (finally), an owl swoop in or by, yes, not anything to hear, only to see. I love it!
"silent as smoke"! Yes indeed. Good one, Ruth.
Fabulous!
Ohh, those yellow eyes! Mesmerizing!
Last Sunday, we went to a "Raptorpalooza" event at our local Audubon center. So many inspiring birds. So many piercing eyes!
Oooh, “silent as smoke” is dead on!
Thank you for this, Ruth. I love the focus today on the owl.
