This British teacher in Sudan has. She is serving a fifteen-day jail sentence for allowing her students to call a teddy bear Mohammed.

I've been following this and just shaking my head. But of course, I have very minimal cross-cultural experience, so I'm doing it mostly from ignorance, while trying to be mindful that there must be some serious issues behind it. BBC News had a recent analysis speculating that Sudan is doing it to intentionally provoke the West. You gotta wonder...
