Poetry Friday: love is more thicker than forget

[love is more thicker than forget]
e.e. cummings

love is more thicker than forget
more thinner than recall
more seldom than a wave is wet
more frequent than to fail

it is most mad and moonly
and less it shall unbe
than all the sea which only
is deeper than the sea

love is less always than to win
less never than alive
less bigger than the least begin
less littler than forgive

it is most sane and sunly
and more it cannot die
than all the sky which only
is higher than the sky

What can I add to this?  "Love is as strong as death," as King Solomon wrote thousands of years ago. It is more thicker than forget.  It cannot die.

Here's today's roundup.

It is littler than the biggest city but
bigger than the littlest town.

:-)

Great poem.

Wow! I have read this poem a couple times. It seems like a riddle that I still haven't figured out. :)

I had forgotten this, think I remember it from long ago, Ruth. It's lovely truth, isn't it?

I love e.e. cummings, but I didn't know this poem. I feel like I need to read it again and again. One of the things that has been hardest for me this week is how people, even people who are the children of an Abba who loves us unconditionally, have been so incredibly harsh and unkind and unloving. I think our Abba Father has wept many times this week, and not just over His children being shot.

Love e.e. cummings, and love this. Thanks, Ruth.
