BBC Correspondent Visits the Sahara

I just read this fascinating article about camel trains crossing the Sahara. I am always amazed by all the things in the world that I know nothing at all about. When I was a child I loved a poem that said, "The world is so full of a number of things, I'm sure we should all be as happy as kings." Sometimes I still feel that way!

I had never heard that line of poetry before. It seems simple at first, but there seems to be some doubt and mystery too. I used (the mighty)Google to find it. It seems that is it actually quite famous: itis by Robert Louis Stevenson, and is called "Happy Thought". The two lines quoted are the whole poem.
