This Grosbeak fella is cheerful indeed. Your poem is small and 'berry' sweet - like him. Thank you for the smile.:)
No grosbeaks here in Denver, Ruth, but I've seen & heard them. Love your words about them!
The pink robin is shocking! I have never seen anything like that little guy!
The last several Mays our feeders have been visited by rose-breasted grosbeaks as they migrate. They are also stunning birds, who have posed long enough for me to sketch them!
Can he look any more photogenic than surrounded by ice and berries, beaming in red? Beautiful!
Wonderful haiku, it made me laugh–pretty intelligent and regal looking bird too, thanks Ruth!
Beautiful photos, and that bird really does look like it is posing! Your haiku captured it perfectly!
What a beautiful bird, Ruth. Thanks for the photo and the haiku. Happy writing this October.
What a gorgeous bird! Your work is a lovely reference for bird lovers. Your poem introduced me to Rowan berries, too. What amazing experience you bring to your writing. Thanks you.
